Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹, my name is

Yash Vadaria.

I like to build scalable and efficient systems.

I'm a software developer based in Canada, specializing in designing and building scalable distributed systems that solve complex architectural challenges.

๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ About Me

Hello! I'm Yash, and I enjoy creating scalable and efficient systems. With 4 years of experience in software development, I'm currently working at @Aduna Global. It all started when I finished my graduation from @Concordia University, Montreal, Canada as a Master of Applied Computer Science Engineer.

I see myself as a relentless problem-solver, always seeking new challenges that push my boundaries. My strengths lie in breaking down complex problems, rapidly learning new technologies, and maintaining unwavering dedication to delivering high-quality solutions.

Here are a few technologies I've been working with recently:

  • Microservices
  • Golang/Envoy Proxy
  • Spring Boot
  • Kubernetes/Istio/Helm
  • NodeJS
  • React/Redux
  • MongoDB/Postgres
  • gRPC

๐Ÿ’ผWhere Iโ€™ve Worked

Software Developer @ Aduna Global

July 2025 - Present

  • Led the design and execution of a POC replacing Kong Gateway with Envoy (OSS), delivering 69.8% faster P95 latency at 100 iterations/sec and uncovering ~$30K/year in licensing and traffic-related savings along with ~$10K/year lower compute/resource consumption. The migration is now in the industrialization phase.

  • Created a custom Go-based Passthrough Kong plugin to route all ingress traffic through a unified gateway entry point, enabling centralized monitoring and generating Prometheus latency metrics for comprehensive platform observability.

  • Implemented and integrated SLI-based Prometheus metrics in custom Go-based Kong plugins to monitor platform and end-to-end processing latency, enabling QA and production teams to troubleshoot performance issues quickly.

  • Productionized a Python-based RAG MCP and Jira/Confluence MCP server on Azure, integrating internal vector embeddings to deliver AI-assisted coding across the company through Continue.dev, significantly improving developer productivity (KPI impact yet to be determined). Currently leading a POC for an automated AI review system triggered on each GitLab MR.

  • Conducted functional testing, configuration management, feature testing, and sanity testing to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
